When tweeting during the conference weekend, append your updates with #gfji2011. This way, all updates can be followed easily in one place. You can also check out the Twubs we created for the hashtag by clicking here.
Best Practices in Social Media
We’ve created this quick read to share with you some of the most important lessons we’ve learned from our Social Media experience. We hope this will be helpful for you.

Social Media How-To
Mashable – Mashable offers a comprehensive overview of Social Media with how-to’s, reviews, and current news and trends. This is the site for everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Social Media.
The Case Foundation – The Case Foundation offers several “101″ Social Media guides.
Ventureneer – an online resource center for social entrepreneurs and nonprofit professionals. Great resources for everyone.
Social Media Management
We recommend Hootsuite to manage your social networks in one place. Hootsuite allows you to sync several profiles, add RSS feeds, allow multiple users, and more. The basic version is great for small organizations and individuals, but if you need bells and whistles like link stats, you’ll have to upgrade (a very reasonable monthly fee).
